Preparation is the key

The Garage 59 team came home 41st overall from over 140 cars on the Nordschleife on Saturday 1st August. Fourth in class. Most importantly, the team got four hours of Nordschleife running in the bag as it prepares for the big one: the Nürburgring 24 Hours in September.

This is what Chris Goodwin had to say after the race:

“That was the first race for Garage 59 at the Nordschleife. It was more a ‘competitive test’ since the only way to develop the car, the team and the drivers for this unique motorsport niche is to actually race there! It was a success with a totally reliable run to P4 in class. Set up work, strategy, mixed conditions were all areas of good learning. We will aim to develop both humans and machine another step in time for the next race.”
