Podium in Barcelona!

From pole position to the podium, with a few twists and turns along the way!

The #10 McLaren battled its way to second place in today's six-hour FIA WEC race at Barcelona, while the #58 crossed the line in P11 after another hard-fought race.
A damp track meant three formation laps before the action got underway, with Antares Au leading the field away from pole position in the #10 McLaren. Antares settled into the race but lost a few positions in the tricky opening conditions and was running P8 after 90 minutes. A drive-through penalty for a Full Course Yellow infringement then dropped the #10 further.
Enter Tom Fleming. Fresh from yesterday's sensational Hyperpole performance, Tom was on a mission. He made up an incredible 12 places during his stint, charging through the field to put the #10 firmly back in podium contention. A well-timed Safety Car bunched up the leaders before Marvin Kirchhöfer took over for the final stint in P3.
Marvin wasn't settling for third. He hunted down the #69 BMW and pulled off a fantastic move to claim second place, securing a brilliant podium finish for the #10 crew.

Over in the #58 garage, Alexander West made a strong start from P15, neatly avoiding a spinning car on the opening lap before working his way up to P11. Finn Gehrsitz kept the momentum going, breaking into the Top 10 and handing the car over to Benji Goethe in ninth place.
Benji was flying, setting the fastest lap of the race as he fought his way up to P8. Unfortunately, a penalty for a warning flag infringement dropped the #58 back down the order, leaving the crew to take the chequered flag in P11.
A podium, a fastest lap and plenty of fighting spirit from both sides of the garage. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!
